Data Platform Analyst

Join our Group Treasury Risk, Reporting, Analytics and Platform Liquidity Data Operations team. Our team focuses on facilitating the delivery of quality and timely liquidity information to fulfil regulatory reporting obligations under a robust risk management framework.

What role will you play?

As a Data Platform Analyst, you will be supporting the team with the overall target to ensure complete, accurate and timely production runs of daily and monthly batch jobs. You will also be responsible for managing ongoing change release cycles to implement platform fixes and enhancements as well as producing analysis for internal stakeholders including senior management on liquidity returns. In addition, you will perform hands-on design, development and testing using SQL Server Queries, Presto Queries, Python and work on improving automation and analytics within the liquidity space while driving process improvement and innovation over time.

What you offer

  • Proficiency in SQL and Power BI (including dataflows, Power Query M, and DAX)
  • Hands on experience developing and modifying Alteryx workflows and troubleshooting performance issues
  • Ability to understand business process analysis and data modelling and proactively identify mapping of requirements to processes and the underlying data
  • Exposure to concepts of products, their pricing and cashflow generation, behavioural modelling, assumptions for runoffs and new business inflows
  • High attention to detail and sense of accuracy with excellent stakeholder management
  • Knowledge and prior exposure to Dataiku and familiarity with big data tools and technologies such as Spark, Presto and Airflow will be advantageous.
