What role will you play?
As a Junior Business Manager / Senior Analyst, you will be involved in the operational performance, financial management and reconciliations and divisional business planning of the Operational Risk division, driving improvements and efficiencies. You will support a variety of tasks across operational performance, risk, strategy, communications, people and projects. By representing the division in various business management related forums, you will manage user access, business resilience planning, supplier governance and other critical operational initiatives, including divisional governance and intranet/folder management.
What you offer
- Previous experience in Financial Services, Consulting or Project Management and well-versed in business planning and financial management
- Strong numerical, analytical and communication skills, both written and verbal (high proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint)
- Proven stakeholder management skills with experience in delivering key messages succinctly and effectively to senior leaders
- Ability to take on different sets of responsibilities depending on the needs of the team and be highly effective at managing competing priorities
- Delivery focused style with strong project management skills and attention to detail with an understanding of the management of Operations Risk and Control standards, policies and governance frameworks

In our Risk Management Group, you will be part of an independent, and centralised function, responsible for independent and objective review and challenge, oversight, monitoring and reporting in relation to Macquarie’s material risks. Our divisions include behavioural risk, compliance, credit, financial crime risk, internal audit, market risk, operational risk and governance, prudential risk, and Risk Management Group central.
