Manager – Risk Training

What role will you play?

You will help to support the specific remit of managing risk training for the EMEA region.

You will work alongside regional counterparts and the Global Head of Risk Management Group (RMG) Training on the development and execution of the global Risk Management Group training plan, and the EMEA Risk Training Plan. You will be responsible for end-to-end project management of Risk Training for EMEA including needs assessment, subject matter expert engagement, program design, content writing, record keeping and data & analytics for both in-person and online training programs.  You will also oversee the design and execution of the EMEA risk training plan whilst maintaining strong stakeholder relationships.

What you offer

  • Demonstrated experience in risk and compliance training in a financial services environment, at least 3-5 years.
  • Training qualifications and/or an instructional design certification are essential.
  • Experience in managing the production, maintenance and execution of a regional training plan and assisting in the development of training content.
  • Strong attention to detail proven by high quality content that delivers key risk massages, effective metrics and reporting, and full utilization of the global learning management system.
  • You will have strong leadership experience and the ability to develop others, work autonomously and deliver results within deadlines.
  • Training qualifications and/or an instructional design certification are required

About the Risk Management Group

In our Risk Management Group, you will be part of an independent, and centralised function, responsible for independent and objective review and challenge, oversight, monitoring and reporting in relation to Macquarie’s material risks. Our divisions include behavioural risk, compliance, credit, financial crime risk, internal audit, market risk, operational risk and governance, prudential risk, and Risk Management Group central.
