What role will you play?
We are striving for 100% on cloud, with a massive focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Amazon Web Services (AWS). We pride ourselves on building automated, extensible and secure cloud capabilities underpinning our Digital Bank. We use innovative approaches to automation including extensive usage of:
- Hashicorp Vault
- Kubernetes Operators
- ArgoCD
- In-house written Go Operators
- GCP & AWS Cloud Platforms.
In this role, you will be providing technical leadership in architecture, design, development, testing and operations to deliver solutions incrementally. You will be responsible for influencing and mentoring other engineers in engineering best practices.
What you offer
- 2-5 years' experience with the Go programming language
- 5+ years' experience with software development in enterprise environments
- Experience working with cloud technologies such as GCP or AWS
- Experience managing GitOps (ArgoCD) and declarative infrastructure as code (kustomize, helm, or terraform)
- Experience with monitoring platforms with Prometheus and Grafana
- Real world experience in supporting production applications
- Hashicorp Vault experience is desirable
- Development experience with Kubernetes Operators is desirable
