AEM Backend Engineer | MarTech

What role will you play?

In this role, you will be part of the MarTech team (.com.au) product team, that leverages various Adobe and other Martech products to drive MarTech solutions. You will offer and implement clever engineering strategies to experiment and prototype features rapidly whilst constantly delivering customer value.

Working with various engineering teams you will design, develop, deliver and maintain operationally efficient, robust and resilient systems that align with the tech strategy and as a senior engineer, you will empower your team members, value the team's success, and mentor and coach your fellow team members.

What you offer

  • 5+ years of AEM or Java development experience.
  • Demonstrated capabilities within AEM including AEM as a cloud service concept, OSGi services, Dispatcher and Caching concepts, Editable templates and components, Oak indexing, and expertise in JAVA/J2EE
  • Experience working with AEM features including templates, components, services, workflows, widgets, content fragments, dispatcher, Apache, sling framework, OSGi framework, etc and integrating AEM application with in-house/3rd party systems/APIs
  • Strong understanding of AEM architectural concepts including Sling Resolution/Sling Resource Merger, Headless, Workflows, Logs rotation, OSGI service binding, AEM CS architecture(nice to have), Pub/Sub event model
  • Experience with secure coding practices, security, performance, code quality, unit test automation, CI/CD concepts (AEM cloud manager) and troubleshooting AEM
  • Strong understanding of code testability and experience building pipelines and DevOps (CI/CD systems and infrastructure as code, etc.).
