Financial Planning and Analysis Manager

Join our Financial Planning and Analysis team as a Manager to provide strategic insights and advice to our operating groups and senior management. You will work in a highly collaborative team, demonstrating a desire to build a financial services career within the Corporate Operations Group and honing skills that provide long-term development.

What role will you play?

In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and communicating the financial budget, forecast, outlook, and cost transformation to the wider team. You will also ensure the integrity of the P&L. As part of the transformation strategy, you will help drive and coordinate cost reduction and common process improvement projects. Additionally, you will produce insightful analyses that facilitate better management decisions and early detection of delivery or financial issues.

What you offer

  • CA qualification with 6-9 years of relevant post-qualification experience, particularly in the banking and financial services industry. Previous exposure to financial accounting and statutory reporting in a service industry environment.
  • Proactively partner with a wide range of stakeholders and finance partners, supporting Macquarie’s Corporate Operations Group.
  • Strong communication skills, along with excellent analytical skills, to review, challenge, and report financial results across various divisions, providing meaningful insights into the cost base.
  • Experience with compiling MIS and reporting to senior management. Demonstrate a drive to improve operational robustness and reduce risks.
  • A driven and thoughtful team player with lateral thinking abilities, capable of solving complex problems in a fast-paced environment. Ability to effectively manage risks and escalate issues. Liaise with extended teams based in Sydney, Manila, Hong Kong, and New York.
