Join our Banking and Financial Services group as an experienced tax professional within the Financial Management team to assist with tax projects in the regulatory environment, tax advice and tax compliance.

What role will you play?

In this role you will be working with stakeholders to produce ATO reporting including Annual Income Investment Reporting, FATCA/CRS reporting and other ATO and IRS lodgements. You will be providing tax advice to the business regarding interpretation of tax reporting legislation and ATO guidance while also being responsible for the preparation of responses to tax regulator review activities including audits, questionnaires and targeted reviews and impact analysis of changing tax requirements and assistance with implementation.

What you offer

  • A tertiary qualification in business, commerce, finance or law
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in a chartered, corporate or finance field
  • Strong interpersonal and influencing skills and strong written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to distil complex technical information into useful business language
  • Excellent attention to detail and a willingness to work methodically and comprehensively through problems
  • A risk management mindset and desire to be involved in new compliance activities.
