This is an exciting opportunity within the Equity Finance business. As part of this successful and highly supportive team, you will be part of the team helping drive business growth and increase profitability for the business. This role will be focused on trading Repo and Stock Loan transactions for our client base.

What role will you play?
Your day-to-day activities will include working to identify and execute profitable financing trading opportunities across European and US markets, provide pricing to clients and manage risk. Your role will consist of working in close collaboration within a team covering the full suite of equity finance products (securities lending, repo and synthetic financing) across equities and government fixed income securities. You will be expected to have a strong understanding of the full spectrum of Equity Finance activities and will be encouraged to think strategically to grow the business. Your role will include funding, balancing sheet, credit risk, interest rate, Foreign Exchange and capital optimisation.
What you offer
- Prior trading experience covering financing transaction in Repo, Stock Loan.
- Strong understand of liquidity ratios and balance sheet accounting.
- Product experience Repo, Stock Loan & Total Return Swaps across Government Bonds and Equities.
- Strong skills in risk management, particularly interest rate risk, Foreign Exchange risk and basis risk.
- Technology skills: ability to drive technology enhancements is essential as well as coding skills being beneficial.
- Well-developed understanding of equity markets and government bonds repos with prior experience trading Securities Based Lending Repo financing.
