Client Management Senior Analyst


An exciting opportunity has arisen for you to join us as a Client Management Executive in our Specialised and Asset Finance Team in Korea. This role is initially a 12 month contract, with the potential to become permanent.

Our Specialised and Asset Finance team provides innovative and traditional capital, finance and related services to clients operating in selected international markets. With offices in Australia, New Zealand, Asia, North America and Europe, Corporate and Asset Finance specialises in leasing and asset finance, tailored debt and finance solutions, asset remarketing, sourcing and trading.

Macquarie Finance Korea is one of the businesses within Specialised and Asset Finance and is responsible for the origination of IT related operating leases. The team is part of a global business that provides finance solutions for the government and corporate market. We are one of the largest independent providers of operating lease finance in the Korean region.  

In this role, you will need to professionally manage the Macquarie IT client and account relationship with clients and suppliers to ensure ongoing renewal and growth of profitable business. To ensure client needs and issues are identified and resolved, you will need to actively manage the client relationship as the prime point of contact.

You will also manage drawdown process for clients, including preparing documentation, settlement, interest rate risk management, third party liaison and system work. You will provide timely and accurate advice to senior management on key facility events and process and ensure that all documentation and system needs meet prudential, financial and operational risk. Lastly, you will provide input for the improvement of work practices and processes.

To be successful in the role, you will have work experience ideally within finance, banking sectors or operational experience. You have strong negotiation skills and a demonstrated ability to close business within a diverse customer base. You can demonstrate a strong organisational ability as well as the commitment to follow tasks through to completion and possess sound numerical skills. You have strong analytical skills, attention to detail and excellent communication skills with a strong client service mind set. Finally, you are proficient in the use of Microsoft Work, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook and is fluent in written/spoken English and Korean.
