What role will you play?
Working with a supportive team you will primarily be responsible for regulatory accounting and reporting, tax compliance and general ledger maintenance for Macquarie Capital Securities (Japan) Limited as an FIEA Type I/II licensed entity, regulated by the Japanese FSA. You will be coordinating with external tax advisors, the internal tax team, and the business in relation to tax returns and tax issues. You will also be required to participate in regional ad-hoc requests/projects relating to MCSJL. Finally, you will oversee, upskill and pass down knowledge to team members, who prepare the periodical regulatory reporting.

What you offer
- 5-10 years experience within accounting in either a regulated Financial Institution, or an accounting firm (working experience in Audit team or FAS team is preferred).
- Fluency in Japanese and English is essential due to the reporting requirements with the local regulator
- You will also have strong analytical skills, high level of energy and work well as part of a team.
