Business Analyst | Liquidity Regulatory Reporting and Data

Join the Group Treasury Projects and Change team, with opportunities across a number of projects, we will play a key role in uplifting our liquidity regulatory reporting, analytics, and data management processes.

What role will you play?

You will leverage both existing and new technologies, data sources, and processes to deliver innovative solutions that unlock near term benefits to our reporting teams. You will use your varying experience across business process, technical, data and operating model change to deliver on a range of projects.

What you offer

  • An understanding of key Liquidity reporting requirements and metrics, including LCR, NSFR, APRA Daily Liquidity Report (APS210.5)
  • Familiarity with common financial products and instruments, including bonds, repos, swaps, and associated liquidity regulatory or economic considerations
  • Experience applying formal data management, data under governance, or enterprise data management principles into regulatory reporting processes
  • Familiarity with, or a desire to learn data analysis tools such as Alteryx, Python, DataIku or visualisation software such as PowerBI
  • High level of attention to detail and a commitment to continuous learning and development with analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Great written and verbal communication skills and the ability to work closely and to engage with multiple stakeholders within business, risk management and technology at all levels
  • An understanding of the control environment required for regulatory reporting, and specific considerations required in delivering industry best-practise.
