Come join Macquarie Asset Management's Client Solutions Group (CSG) in the Americas as a Analyst/Sr. Analyst, Events in our Philadelphia office. You’ll be part of a team that supports an exciting business, and you'll interface with channel marketing and distribution teams to help support exceptional external events aligned to strategic business goals and objectives.
You will be responsible for the execution of logistics and pre, during, and post attendee experience for client facing events. You'll engage in all aspects of event planning and execution, including on-site management. You'll work with a high degree of urgency, managing time-sensitive deadlines, maintain and adhere to budget requirements, and project requests related to the programs. You'll prioritize successful KPIs, metrics, and measurements of events and conferences and ensure that events and sponsorships progress seamlessly. You'll work in partnership with the Senior Event Manager to further improve the process and implementation for strategic events within the asset management business.
To be successful in this role you will have previous experience in a similar event marketing role. You will work well under pressure and be able to manage a busy workload, conflicting priorities, and deadlines effectively. You will have flexibility to work after-hours and/or weekends at events and travel within the US, if needed. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the willingness to go beyond the scope of the usual job description. You are flexible and adaptable and maintain a high standard of integrity, honesty, and confidentiality.
Your qualifications will include:
- Bachelor’s degree in hospitality or event management strongly preferred
- 2-5 years’ experience in event planning – asset Management or financial industry experience a plus
- An intermediate-to-advanced understanding of Cvent event technology with the ability to create and manage small and large-scale events, many simultaneously
- Strong organizational, reporting abilities, and solution-oriented decision-making skills
