A great opportunity for you to join our established Sydney team as a Corporate Actions, Senior Manager. You will need to be enthusiastic, flexible, competent under time pressure and able to demonstrate initiative in a challenging and varied role.
You will deliver first class support to our stakeholders and clients, building relationships with internal and external teams to maintain outstanding corporate actions delivery, working to strict deadlines in a faced paced environment.
Your responsibilities will include end-to-end corporate action event life cycle across cash, non-cash and elective events for all equity and fixed income securities traded by Macquarie. You will also be involved in tasks across withholding tax and associated internal reporting obligations and processing client elections, entitlements and counterparty claims. Finally, you will be interacting with external agents, custodians, clearers and depositories and responding to queries from middle-office, finance and other interested parties.
You will be an experienced motivated individual with an exceptional eye for detail, results driven and able to demonstrate a track record of quality performance in a similar role for at least 4 years. Corporate actions knowledge is essential and you will have a strong awareness of risk and escalation, understanding the reasons behind the method. Advanced communication skills are essential. You will have a collaborative approach and an ability to problem solve new and complex events and situations, taking the initiative where necessary. Tertiary qualification in a business discipline is preferred.
