Manager - Data & Reporting – Non-Financial Risk Team

Our Non-Financial Risk team is responsible for embedding the Operational Risk Management Framework across Macquarie including financial regulatory reporting and financial statutory reporting risk. Joining us as a Data & Reporting manager you will play a key role in establishing the newly created Non-Financial Risk Data, Operations and Reporting team.

This role is both exciting and intellectually challenging as it offers you a unique opportunity to gain an understanding of various risk disciplines and the controls to mitigate these. Partnering with the broader Non-Financial Risk team and management across Macquarie’s global and diverse activities you will gain a thorough understanding of operational risk and utilise data analytics to draw insights and provide clear reporting on the risk profile to the leadership team.

Some of the things you could be working on include:

  • Working collaboratively with regional and central teams to establish and own the Leadership Committee risk profile
  • Various tasks to generate and provide reporting on risk profiles
  • Leveraging data analytics and support the automation of existing reports
  • Conducting operational risk data validations and follow up with stakeholders
  • Improve data quality by analytical reviews and regular communication
  • Identify opportunities for insightful reporting through visualisation tools dashboard creation
  • Support assurance reviews with data analytics and insights

To be successful and thrive in this role we anticipate that you bring 5+ years post qualification experience in risk management, risk profile reporting, data analysis and dashboard management. You should have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to clearly articulate risks to global stakeholders at all levels and good interpersonal skills to build relationships with teams and relevant stakeholders. Knowledge of tools like Power BI, Alteryx and other data visualisation and analytical tools will also be advantageous.

If this sounds like the right opportunity to grow your career, we’d love to hear from you and encourage you to apply.
