Commercial Real Estate / Agency Segment Head - Business Banking

An exciting opportunity has recently been created to take on a pivotal role in our Business Banking division as the Commercial Real Estate Segment Head.

As the Commercial Real Estate Segment Head, you will report to the Head of Property Services and be responsible for the overall creation and execution of the Commercial Real Estate Segment strategy and growth within Macquarie Business Banking. You will have accountability and responsibility for diversifying and accelerating the growth of the business including the evolution of our market proposition into Commercial Real Estate Agencies, Real Estate Investment Trusts, Family Offices and Build to Rent industries.

You are currently operating at a senior level within the financial or professional services industry and have a strategic mindset with the ability to innovate and effect change. In addition, you will have:

  • Strong business banking lending experience particularly in the real estate market
  • Demonstrated experience in successfully growing and scaling a business
  • A deep understanding of business banking portfolio risk, lending policy and pricing methodologies
  • Extensive sales experience with the ability to inspire and motivate a nationally distributed team
  • Executive level communication, collaboration and influencing skills
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to define efficient solutions
