An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our Banking & Financial Services Division (BFS) as a Product Manager within our Platform (Wrap) Product Management Team. The underlying products of the Wrap platform include both Superannuation and Investor Director Portfolio Services (IDPS).
Reporting to the Platform Product Director, this role will offer opportunity to both lead a highly motivated and engagement Product Management Team as well as to directly contribute to the strategic objective and developments of some of our most successful Wealth products.

Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Product Management: Working directly with the Product Director and using Agile principles, you will help set clear goals and provide inputs and planning to help ensure appropriate resourcing for meeting both regulatory and compliance obligations as well as evolving the business by finding efficiencies and process improvement for future scalability.
- People leadership: As one of the more senior members of the team, you will be responsible for providing support and direction for the Product Managers to support them to execute against the agreed strategy and priorities, help with workload distribution and ensure we have a highly engaged and productive workforce.
- Stakeholder management: With a variety of demands due to the regulatory and competitive nature of the industry, it is important to have excellent prioritisation, influencing and relationship management skills to agree on the priorities for the team and to manage to tight delivery timeframes. You will work with a variety of teams across the BFS ecosystem to support delivery of projects as well as supporting individual escalated matters as they arise.
- Superannuation and IDPS regulatory obligations and change: Working with the team and subject matter experts, you will understand the regulatory frameworks and work with the various teams to ensure appropriate levels of support from the Product Management Team to both comply with regulatory changes as well as to ensure project teams understand the impacts of the changes by taking a HCD approach and overarching strategic goals such as digitisation.
A minimum of 5 years financial services experience is essential. A commitment to delivering exceptional client experiences and risk focus will be key to success in this role. Critical thinking, through to analytical and problem-solving skills, people leadership skills, along with effective stakeholder management and a keen eye for detail is what enables you to effectively manage and deliver results for a wide and diverse group of stakeholders. You will be self-motived and able to effectively manage deadlines, deal with a multitude of different tasks concurrently and prioritise appropriately. In addition, you will possess excellent communication skills and demonstrate strong relationship building skills with both internal departments and external parties.
