Learning Digital Media Specialist

To achieve this, we are looking for a creative Learning Digital Media Specialist to join the Learning & Development team in our retail bank, Banking and Financial Services. You will be supported in a multi-disciplinary team, and will belong to the People, Culture and Client Experience division with Macquarie’s Banking and Financial Services Group. To complement our team, we are looking for someone to bring an amazing attitude, creative flair to digital design and production, forming meaningful rapport with their stakeholders. You will be providing expertise and recommendations regarding the build of digital learning experiences, and implementation of learning via digital interventions. Your ability to connect business needs and strategic priorities, along with an eye for creating engaging content that can be adapted across various channels and platforms will assist you in your success in this role. You will require strong experience in different digital media content styles to be able to make recommendations on what intervention best suits the need. You’ll require strong interpersonal and relationship building skills to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels. It will be important for you to bring concepts and their application to life in an engaging manner, as well as to articulate the complex technical topics in a simple manner using best-in-class digital experiences. To be successful in this role, we require someone that can work autonomously and design and deliver innovative, commercially-savvy digital solutions to the business.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Working on learning experiences across BFS programs and driving new ways of change to be embraced and adopted
  • leveraging your digital expertise you will be consulting with our stakeholders to interpret technical content and turn it into sustainable, simplistic and engaging digital assets using human-centred design
  • providing innovative and effective best-in-class digital learning solutions to strengthen and embed knowledge and skills across BFS
  • design digital learning experiences targeted to the needs of the business and our people. This includes ideation and execution of video and other digital media briefs
  • build digital learning material and collaborate with stakeholders/SMEs to build holistic and performance-oriented solutions that meet business needs
  • adhere to current brand guidelines and contribute to ideation of auxiliary assets as they pertain to digital learning
  • partnering with colleagues in a multi-disciplinary team to deliver on business needs and strategic priorities.

You will bring the following experience:

  • Continuously discover and implement new digital media technologies (including video/audio editing) and industry’s best practices to maximize efficiency
  • should have proven work experience for a minimum of 2-3 years:
    • producing and editing videos
    • designing and building digital media collateral
  • knowledge of video and photographic techniques around lighting and composition
  • understands principles of good audio recording and sound mixing procedures
  • creative mind and storytelling skills with demonstrable:
    • video production ability
    • digital media production ability
    • portfolio of work comprising video and other digital production
  • advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite products (Premiere Pro, Photoshop, After Effects and Illustrator as well as Adobe Audition)
  • advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, specifically – Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint and Publisher
  • intermediate proficiency in Articulate 360 with the ability to develop creative digital learning solutions
  • highly developed technical writing ability and verbal communication skills with experience in developing blended learning solutions
  • creative, full of energy, extremely responsible and organized, with an obsessive attention to detail
  • ability to handle multiple projects, and thrive in a fast paced, dynamic work environment with very tight deadlines
  • certificate IV in Training and Assessment is desirable.
