Executive- Data Scientist for Commodity market (Agriculture)


Opportunity for a commercially orientated Commodities Analyst to join our Agricultural Trading Team, within the Commodities & Global Markets (CGM) group, based in Gurugram.

In this role you will be working closely with analysts and traders based in Asia, Europe and the Americas, you’ll assist members of the team with ongoing market analysis. You will develop responsibility for managing market based and fundamental data-sets, e.g. inputs for supply-demand models & price forecasts, along with running price and weather based high frequency models.

To be successful in this role, you’ll have a university degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering or a quantitative discipline.

You will display proficiency in MS Office, Strong MS Excel skills and good written English. Should be well versed and experienced with Python and SQL. You’ll have the ability to work within a fast-paced environment, be resourceful and demonstrate strong data management skills. A logical and creative approach to problem solving.  Prior experience of commodity market analysis would be advantageous.
