An excellent opportunity to gain exposure, in a challenging role, within our EMEA Regulatory Risk team, as a Regulatory Risk Manager.
Reporting to the Head of Regulatory Risk, you will join the Regulatory Risk team with the specific remit of assisting Macquarie to adapt to regulatory change by interpreting regulatory expectations in a commercial and strategic manner, primarily in the asset management sector.
Key aspects of your role will require you to work closely with Macquarie's Asset Management business groups and business-aligned Compliance teams to provide efficient and effective compliance advisory services to the Group.
You will assist with the implementation of key regulatory changes in the asset management sector across the EMEA region. You will be involved in identifying, tracking and advising on existing/new regulatory developments. Including assessing impact, communicating and advising on changes and participating in various regulatory change forums specific to the Macquarie Asset Management business. You will be involved with assisting with regional management of the Global Policy framework. Including the development/updating of policies, procedures and business practices, where relevant.
You are a highly organised individual with previous post-admission experience gained within a private law practice or in-house within a Financial Services firm; or alternatively a strong regulatory compliance, investigation or audit experience gained within a financial services, legal or regulatory environment, demonstrating solid understanding of UK and EU regulatory environment. Excellent interpersonal, communication and management skills and a demonstrated ability to manage and advise on regulatory projects.
