Join Macquarie’s Corporate Operations Group on a 12-month contract basis, where you will utilise your extensive Project Management experience and be accountable for initiatives in the Corporate Operations Group Technology Delivery Centre to be delivered within scope, on time and within budget whilst ensuring quality objectives are achieved.
You will be required to work with Corporate Operations Group and Business senior management in delivering the project in line with the business objectives and the Technology strategic roadmap and collaborate with the Delivery Centre and front office account management team to ensure that appropriate frameworks, methodologies, processes and tools are used to achieve successful project delivery. You will ensure that all required participants (including other divisions / account teams) understand and are committed to their roles and delivery according to plan, ensure strong communication channels are established and maintained for all participants in the project and identify and resolve risks and issues impacting a project of this size and complexity. The role will see you managing project budgets, scope and schedules, identifying resource requirements, engaging resourcing and tracking resource plans, along with managing the project inter-dependencies, risks, issues, financials, and benefits realisation.
You will join with the following key skills, which are required for this role:
- Stakeholder Engagement: Ability to engage with stakeholders on a senior level whilst maintaining the ability to work with SME’s on detail and engage with stakeholder across the organisation.
- Project Management: Ability to holistically manage a complex technology project incorporating migrations to Cloud technologies, integration, and software implementations, whilst also driving a structured and robust process.
- Communication: Effective communication with project stakeholders at Director levels including steering groups.
You will also ideally bring the following experience:
- experience in the institutional banking or financial services industry.
- preference for experience with internationally distributed delivery team.
- strong presentation, communication and people management skills.
- extensive project management experience delivering technology projects.
- Project Management Certification (PRINCE II, PMP, Agile or otherwise) and be an outcome focussed self-starter.
