FM Operations Analyst


Key responsibilities will include:
• Trade Lifecycle processing and risk management
• Handling confirmation processes to ensure economic and non-economic terms accurately represented on all outgoing confirmations
• Settlements of securities, FX, brokerage, and custodian fees
• Verify and authenticate payment and settlement instructions received from clients and counterparties
• Liaising with external clients, counterparts and the internal division marketers and traders on technical queries
• Working for both local and global operations team to drive identification and implementation of improvements in operational processes, from a control or efficiency perspective
• Business project management
• Pre-match and monitor trades for timely settlement in compliance with market guidelines
• Handle client queries including ad-hoc queries via phone and email
• Pro-actively chase counterparties and relevant groups in resolving aging failed trades
• Prepare shorts reporting and provide funding information to onshore counterparts
• Manage position reconciliations for fixed income breaks
• Works closely with onshore counterparts, middle office, and send timely updates to various desks
• Perform manual instructions due to system limitations
• Manage operational risks by addressing any areas of concern in conjunction with line management and appropriate business area
About you:
  • A degree in finance or a related area, as well as relevant professional qualifications or postgraduate degree are desirable, as is experience in banking in finance, accounting, and market operations

• Excellent customer service skills with experience in liaising with internal and external clients
