About the role
This is an exciting opportunity for a Commodities Markets and Finance (CMF) Operations Analyst to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling processes for commodities markets including (but not limited to) Global OTC Derivatives, Global Oil and US Gas & Power relating to trade activity, static data maintenance, processing of incoming confirmations received from clients, drafting of invoices, agreeing settlements with clients and brokers and processing payment requests.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Trade Lifecycle processing and Risks Management
- Static Data Maintenance
- Handling the confirmation processes to ensure economic & non-economic terms are accurately represented on all outgoing confirmations
- Settlements of trades and brokerage fees
- Liaising with external clients and the CMF’s Marketers & Traders on technical queries
- Working with both the local and global CMF Operations team to drive identification and implementation of improvements in operational processes, from a control or efficiency perspective
About you
A degree in finance, data science or a related area, as well as relevant professional qualifications or postgraduate degrees are desirable, as is experience in banking in finance, technology, and markets operations.
