We have an exciting opportunity for an Analyst/Senior Analyst to join a rewarding, innovative and dynamic role in the Operational Risk Frameworks team within the Risk Management Group’s Operational Risk & Governance Division.
The Operational Risk & Governance Division provides the guardrails for effective risk management. We provide guidance to the business to support the management of their material risks, and deliver oversight, assurance, challenge, and insights on Macquarie’s risk profile.
In this role, you will:
- Support the governance of Macquarie’s Operational Risk Frameworks, related strategic initiatives and organisational embedment.
- Develop subject matter expertise in Risk, Control Management and Assurance by supporting organisational uplift.
- Work with business leaders and risk management peers regarding heightened and emerging Risks and areas of focus.
- Work with a dedicated, high-performing, and hard-working team.
You will have experience in Operational Risk, Internal and/or External Audit gained within an international financial institution and/or professional services firm, strong communication skills; ability to engage with a diverse set of stakeholders and build effective working relationships.
Your project management and organisational skills, attention to detail, the ability to multi-task, present new ideas and work both independently as well as collaboratively, in addition to your positive and constructive approach to problem solving, tenacity, agility, and a proven ability to sustain high levels of performance in a fast-paced, output focused environment will be vital in this role.

Its divisions include Behavioural Risk, Compliance, Credit, Financial Crime Risk, Internal Audit, Market Risk, Operational Risk, Regulatory Affairs and Aggregate Risk, and RMG Enterprise Support.
