Analyst Workplace Health & Safety Systems & Improvement

Join our Macquarie Risk Management team as a commercially minded and dynamic Workplace Health Safety (WHS) professional. 

As Coordinator, WHS Systems & Improvement and reporting directly to the Global WHS Director, you will join a team that provides expert risk consulting services on work health and safety.

In this role you will drive implementation of the WHS Strategy and improvement actions, improve the design and communication of the Macquarie WHS management frameworks and project manage Macquarie WHS improvement programs.

You will also be responsible for the design and implementation of both internal and external training / communication for key stakeholders to develop lasting awareness and maturity in understanding work health and safety risk. You will also have the opportunity to support RMG-wide WHS reporting to Macquarie Senior Management and Board.

You’ll bring with you:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications;
  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills;
  • A track record of successful managing and delivering significant projects;
  • Experience with the development and improvement of WHS Management Systems.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills across a range of internal and external stakeholder groups;
  • Curiosity and a commitment to personal and team learning.

The Risk Management Group is an independent, centralised unit responsible for ensuring all risk across Macquarie are appropriately assessed and managed.
