Senior Associate - Testing - Project & Change


We have an exciting opportunity for a senior associate in testing to join our Financal Management Group Projects and Change team.In this role, you will support mid to large scale finance change projects in testing; performing testing in line with the project strategy.

The projects you will work on are in-line with the organization’s priorities and will include functions such as corporate and regulatory reporting, trading finance and product control, accounting, tax reporting and FP&A. You will have demonstrated experience in testing, regulatory projects and be confident working across functional teams.

In this role, you will identify and analyse test requirements from specifications, create test scenarios and design test coverage plan; with traceability back to documented business requirements and workflows. You will perform peer review of test scenarios and test casesand assist in managing the testing schedule, critical path, contentions, and interdependencies.

You will work collaboratively with project teams including developers, function SME, project managers and business analysts, and participate in defect triage meetings, collaborate with developers to ensure all potential issues and bugs identified during testing. You will also communicate with project teams and stakeholders, present demos, and answer questions at the end of a sprint; whilst exploring opportunities of automation and drive usage of new technologies in testing.

To be successful, you will be have experience in an Agile working environment, with good stakeholder management and communication skills. You will have a minimum 5 to 6 years experience working in with test case planning and preparation and a good understanding of software testing lifecycle. These skills are also advantageous:

  • SQL script writing, including complex join functions
  • Strong knowledge in defect life cycle and regression testing
  • A good understanding of JIRA management software
  • Working knowledge of Excel pivots and Axiom or another regulatory reporting tool
