We have an exciting opportunity for a talented technologist who wants to work as part of the team that builds and maintains an industry leading warrants market making system.

Macquarie’s Equity Derivatives team is a leading warrant market maker across the Asian region with over 20 years of experience. We rely on in-house developed automated market making systems to generate profitable and sustainable income. Our in-house software is engineered to competitively make markets using several proprietary automations, manage trading risk and comply with liquidity and exchange obligations.

In this role, you’ll Work with a global team of motivated and talented people to deliver quality technology solutions in a demanding business environment; will collaborate with the technology team and stakeholders to understand problems or features and implement robust and performant solutions. While you will be working in an agile development environment (SCRUM Team), you will identify new opportunities to improve the platform. You’ll also follow the agreed development processes and collaborate with the team to drive improvements while providing support to traders and other business users on the applications the team develops and enhances.

You will have 11 to 15 years experience with a degree in computer science or similar. You will have experience working with multi-threaded concurrent systems, a strong understanding of data structures and OO fundamentals with proficiency across C# .NET and SQL Server. You will also have experience using GIT, Python, Powershell, Jira, Confluence, Bamboo, Windows Server and AWS; and within the CI/CD environments. It is favourable if you have an understanding of trading systems and the basics of derivatives.
