Business Manager, Corporate Operations Group

Sydney

Do you have a passion for people, planning and problem solving? The Central team within our Corporate Operations Group (COG) is currently looking for a Business Manager to join their team. The role will report to the Head of COG Business Management and interact with a variety of internal stakeholders.

In this role, you will drive and assist implementation of projects, events and initiatives and coordinate outcomes to support the ongoing performance and operations of COG, and you will develop agendas, inputs, outputs and reporting for leadership meetings. This will involve collaborating and working closely with various senior stakeholders across all COG divisions.

From a strategic perspective, you will work with the Head of COG Business Management, the COG COO and COG Leadership Team to develop the strategy, along with the vision and story for our people. You will provide input into internal communications planning and execution across various channels including Workplace, Director Workshops and Town Halls and act as a change advocate across the global business.

You will be heavily involved with the operational performance of the COG Central division including assessing and reviewing finances, inputting into budget discussions, risk management and input and management of the operating model.  You will thrive in a fast-paced environment with highly talented individuals. You will have strong numerical and analytics skills. You will be a strong collaborator, with other business managers and the teams across COG. You will be a strong communicator, both written and verbal and be able to deliver key messages succinctly and effectively. You will also interface well and have credibility with senior leaders.

To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate strong planning and prioritization skills – an ability to manage multiple concurrent tasks, keeping visibility on urgency/importance and re-adjusting prioritization as needed and remaining agile. There is a need to be able to drive initiatives autonomously, keeping the Head of COG Business Management and the COG COO up to date as needed.
