This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious non-flow sales professional for Japanese financial institutions to join our Commodities and Global Markets group in our Tokyo office. With our flat management structure, performance recognition and career flexibility, we offer a dynamic and rewarding environment in which to work.
As an important member of the team, you’ll be responsible for both sales and client management within Commodities and Global Markets Central business. You’ll be managing an existing client base and be expected to drive new business by delivering Macquarie’s various solutions to new clients, with a particular focus on Japanese financial institutions. Working in a collaborative fashion and leveraging the wider Macquarie platform will be vital to your success. You’ll also be working closely with internal stakeholders, such as our Risk Management Group, legal, compliance and so on.
You’ll be working with several cross-group non-flow type of products, such as fixed income & currencies, credit derivates, equity derivatives, and structured finance/products. This opportunity offers significant career advancement and you’ll have the opportunity to make a real impact on the success, revenue and future direction of the business.
With experience in non-flow type of products, you’ll have a track record of delivering first class service to clients and have the commercial awareness to deliver new opportunities. As a strong and ambitious team player, you will have excellent communication skills (in Japanese and English) and the ability to communicate at all levels. You’ll be working in a fast-paced team and be required to prioritise and take a flexible, proactive approach to manage your workload in a commercial environment.
