Join our Banking and Financial Services Group as a Finance Transformation Leader.
Bringing your strong foundation in Finance and transformation to lead a team of highly skilled professionals to partner with Banking & Financial Services Financial Management and Product and Technology to deliver Finance Transformation and Simplification objectives. You will have the opportunity to collaborate closely with the business on key technology initiatives, offering Finance SME support, refining and offering solutions and representing Finance requirements.
Key things you’ll be responsible for include:
- Key contact for initiatives which impact Finance team
- Identification of downstream impacts of key initiatives on the wider Financial Management team, including Financial Control, Tax, Regulatory and Management Reporting impacts
- Gathering and communication of Finance, Tax and Regulatory requirements for consultation with Finance and Tech
- In partnership with other key stakeholders, a key contributor to the design of solutions that meet Finance requirements
- Ability to understand and articulate existing data flows for BFS products, including data flows both upstream and downstream of the General Ledger
- Participate in initial testing and ongoing User Acceptance Testing of proposed development changes with a focus on identifying improvements and flagging issues/gaps
- Support to Finance team members, to enable change approvals, including demonstrations, workshops, and contribution to Change Papers and Finance Impact Assessments

This requires an individual with strong initiative, excellent interpersonal skills, critical thinking, natural curiosity, and an entrepreneurial mindset. A detail orientated mindset and the highest levels of personal and professional integrity are essential.
- Experience in driving Finance transformation initiatives
- An ability to understand and articulate finance requirements and work with technology teams to design solutions
- Innovation mindset with a proven record of process redesign and improvement, able to identify opportunities to enhance efficiencies and add value
- Strong accounting knowledge including an exposure to IFRS accounting standards (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of system data flows
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
- Strong risk and control mindset
- Familiarity with Agile framework and tools used to manage workflow, including JIRA and Confluence preferred
