An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the Financial Crime Intelligence Governance and Quality Control team.
As a AML Quality Control Manager, you will be responsible for managing the AML Quality Control team to ensure that employees are effectively following our processes, policies and standards. You will build and maintain strong working relationships with various teams across Banking Financial Services and liaise with all levels of management. This includes stakeholders both onshore in Brisbane and Sydney, as well as our offshore partners. You will identify and drive process improvements, to ensure risk is minimised and high-quality customer service is maintained.
Through monitoring of financial crime risk across the business, you will provide continuous improvement ideas, to both support the team and enhance the quality. You will use a risk-based approach to drive efficiency and productivity, thereby ensuring the success of the quality assurance framework.
Your key responsibilities will include managing the Quality Control team, maintain and update Quality Control methodology, co-ordinate any Assurance reviews, provide recommendation for controls and improvements, reporting and analysis, driving consistency in marking and ensuring consistency in feedback and also managing the AML incidents and Issues that may arise. Another key part of your role will be to maintain and enhance the Banking Financial Services financial crime governance framework. You will also provide operational support to the wider business through monitoring, investigation and testing.
Experience in stakeholder management, risk identification and operations is desired.
To be successful, you must be someone who can work both independently and as part of a team. You will take ownership of your work and be able to adapt to an ever-changing environment. The ability to learn quickly, adhere to strict service level agreements and produce high quality work is essential.
