Tax Reporting Manager Asia

As a manager in our Tax Reporting team, you will have the opportunity to work closely with Finance, Tax Advisory and the Business in providing support for tax accounting and advising on operational tax matters as well as tax risk assessments.

Working with a supportive and high performing tax team, your key responsibilities will include co-ordinating the tax provisioning process across the region, accurately reporting effective tax rates and tax balances to Head Office and reviewing biannual reconciliations of income tax expense and deferred tax balances in Asia, managing country tax compliance reviews (taxes will include corporate tax, withholding tax and indirect taxes) and managing tax audits. You will also be involved in various projects to implement groupwide initiatives that involve the Group’s tax control framework and process improvements.

You will be a qualified chartered accountant (or equivalent) with a minimum of 5 years’ post qualification experience who ideally has some experience in financial institutions.  You will be able to demonstrate good an understanding of tax accounting, key corporate tax principles and have ideally gained experience within a large commercial organisation or chartered firm.  We are looking for someone with excellent communication and listening skills who also can develop internal client relationships with members of internal Finance and external relationships with advisors and revenue officers.
