Commodities and Global Markets | Senior Analyst - Commercial Strategy

CGM Strategy is looking for a Senior Analyst to play a key part in developing and driving new initiatives across the Commodities and Global Markets group. CGM Strategy is a multidisciplinary team that partners with CGM’s diverse financial services and commodities businesses to make and execute key strategic decisions.

In this role, you will partner with our divisional leaders in our Commodities, Financial Markets and Asset Finance businesses to explore unrealised opportunities. You’ll offer strategic advice and apply fact-based analytic and project management disciplines to simplify and solve complex and ambiguous problems across a diverse group of areas including but not limited to cross-commodities (financial and physical), energy transition, agriculture transition, asset finance (telecom, semiconductors, machinery etc.), foreign exchange and rates including emerging markets and lending across all our areas of focus.   

With a minimum of 3 years of financial / analytical experience in corporate finance, consulting, corporate development, research or related fields, your strong quantitative skills and experience in navigating data will have been invaluable in building your expertise. Successful candidates will have experience in strategic development, revenue enhancement and operational efficiency coupled with the ability to analyse, distil and solve practical problems, generate new ideas and make sound judgements in complex situations. Your strong presentation and communication skills will allow you to work with and influence a variety of colleagues at all levels.
