This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced and motivated Consenting and Stakeholder Lead to join our Green Investment Group’s rapidly growing offshore wind business and support the transition to a low carbon, sustainable global economy.
Our Green Investment Group’s global offshore wind business is responsible for the successful management and delivery of a pipeline of 15+ GW of offshore wind projects, the origination of new opportunities and partnerships as well as the provision of asset management and advisory services to third party investors.
In this newly created role, you will hold the primary responsibility for managing all aspects of obtaining all necessary consents to allow for the efficient delivery of the onshore and offshore project consents. You will report into the Project Director with the aim of ensuring that all the necessary rights to deliver the project options are in place. You will deliver all necessary planning consents to support project recommendations up to construction start and provide ongoing assistance to the delivery team throughout the construction period.
You will proactively work with the project managers, ensuring accurate financial information is provided relating to any consent work. In addition, you will be responsible for analysing and providing accurate information that inputs into the annual Project Development budget and ongoing review process.
As an experienced Consent Manager, you will be expected to mentor and coach other team members to enhance their capability advancement. As the local engagement lead you will be expected to build and nurture relationships at a local level and build rapport within the community. You will bring an extensive experience of consenting and stakeholder engagement, strong commercial acumen, respect and authority to be the local lead and project representative for the project in the community, and fluency in the Irish language.
