Associate/Executive, Equities Market Operations

Become part of our Market Operations team and, through engaging with stakeholders and divisions across the business, including the front office, develop your business and product knowledge in an industry leading global equities business.

Our Market Operations division provides independent specialist solutions, confirmation and settlement facilities for both the cash equities business and equity derivative warrants business. The division provides a key segregated control function for wholesale businesses built on strong operational risk management and a control culture that is consistent and resilient.

To be successful in this role, ideally you will demonstrate a strong track record supporting cash equities settlement / middle office function from min. 1-3 years’ experience. We are also open to consider graduates with a strong track record of academic performance and involvement in extra-curricular activities, with relevant internship experience, to gain a broad understanding of the Cash Equities and Structured Warrants market operations. You have a strong attention to detail, are highly analytical and are driven to succeed. You are highly motivated and innovative, with an interest in the financial services sector and the desire to be part of a talented, global team.

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications;
  • Internship / work experience with either a stock broking firm, custodian bank or asset management company preferred;
  • Be able to display a good understanding of operational risk;
  • Be highly motivated, a self-starter, with strong communication and relationship building skills;
  • Be a team player;
  • Positive attitude and willing to learn.
