Join our Market Operations Division as a Manager/Senior Manager within the Payment Operations team.
The team are responsible for the daily input, verification, settlement, and reconciliation of inbound and outbound payments for a variety of internal and external stakeholders.
Day to day tasks will include but not limited to leading the team, maintaining oversight of the completion of tasks whilst also working on strategic initiatives. In addition to this, you will be involved in working on new business approvals, project work and management reporting.
You will demonstrate empathetic leadership and enjoy leading teams through change. You display effective prioritisation skills and can appropriately delegate and empower staff. You also exhibit excellent communication skills and can confidently interact with stakeholders and management.
With 5+ years of prior experience in financial markets, you are an energetic, highly adaptable and proactive risk manager with the ability to escalate and communicate both technically and non-technically with stakeholder. Your strong analytical mindset and problem-solving skills as well as ability to prioritise and manage multiple deadlines and remain agile to complete delivery will see you succeed in this role. An understanding of SWIFT, payments formatting, Calypso or Payment screening would be advantageous. Experience in Operational excellence is also desirable.
