Become a central part of the of the Macquarie Asset Management-Americas, Transformation and Projects Team as a Project Manager leading large projects or workstreams as part of broader programs. Projects or workstreams may include, but are not limited to, systems implementations, strategic change, process improvement and other technological advancement initiatives. You will work closely with Investment, Operations, Compliance and IT professionals in all Macquarie Asset Management locations.
As a Project Manager, you will demonstrate your knowledge of project management and the investment management business to analyse complex business problems and generate creative solutions working across the organization and with external product vendors. You will help bring the user along for the journey and be a key contributor to all aspects of independently leading project teams and projects including planning, business analysis, change leadership, communication, monitoring progress, managing risks, stakeholder engagement, testing and benefit measurement. You will identify, track and resolve issues that arise on the project and lead business analysis to determine root causes for issues and proposed solutions.
Project management and strong communications skills are essential for success. Attention to detail and analytic thought are required along with the ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
The position is based in Philadelphia and travel to other locations is expected to be 10% - 20%, when permitted.
The requirements for this role are:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 7 years of related asset management experience including business or technical project management and business analysis
