Senior Analyst - Fixed Income & Currencies

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Fixed Income and Currencies professional to join our Commodities and Global Markets group in our Tokyo office. With our flat management structure, performance recognition and career flexibility, we offer a dynamic and rewarding environment in which to work.

As an important member of the team, you’ll be responsible for both sales and structuring within the Fixed Income and Currencies business.  You’ll be managing an existing client base and be expected to drive new business by delivering Macquarie’s Fixed Income and Currencies solutions to new clients. Working in a collaborative fashion and leveraging the wider Macquarie platform will be vital to your success. You’ll also be working closely with internal stakeholders, such as our Risk Management Group, legal, compliance and so on.

You’ll be working with several Fixed Income & Currencies products including Long-Term Foreign Exchange, FX Options, structured assets (including structured equity bonds or derivatives) and supporting cross business products such as commodities and currencies.  This opportunity offers significant career advancement and you’ll have the opportunity to make a real impact on the success, revenue and future direction of the business.

With experience in structed products (e.g. notes/loans) or FX options, you’ll have a track record of delivering first class service to clients and have the commercial awareness to deliver new opportunities. As a strong and ambitious team player, you will have excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise at all levels. You’ll be working in a fast-paced team and be required to prioritise and take a flexible, proactive approach to manage your workload in a commercial environment.
