Join a driven technology team that develops and maintains critical post trade systems for the Equity, Derivatives and Trading business in a fast-paced, dynamic and energetic DevOps environment. You will be working closely with a highly collaborative and supportive business team to drive delivery of ongoing system changes and enhancements.
We are looking for an established technologist with a track recording in developing and leading high performing teams. Your role will be to lead the development team, oversee the development and support activities to ensure platform stability, architecture simplification, technology progress, as well as its functional enhancement.
As a manager, you will lead your team with integrity and create an environment where your team members feel included, valued, and supported to do work that energizes them. You will undertake management responsibilities which will include sourcing and hiring talented team members, providing ongoing coaching and feedback, recognizing and developing team members, identifying and managing risks, and completing management tasks.
You will display a high degree of transaction ownership, possess a strong commercial acumen with the ability to re-prioritize in a changeable environment.
To excel in this role, you will have:
- 3+ years leadership experience, managing teams of 10+ people
- 7+ years software development experience in the financial industry (Java, SpringBoot, sql)
- Experience in agile software development, SDLC tools and best practices
- Excellent communication skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Proven track record delivering technology solutions to clients, in the middle office / back office space
- Domain knowledge in Equity derivatives, Delta 1 products
- Tertiary degree in IT or similar subject.
