Senior Product Designer

Join our Infrastructure and Personal Technology team as a talented Senior Product Designer, where you will work on enhancing our cross platform internally facing digital experiences. You will be a multi-disciplinary designer who is comfortable designing experiences based on a deep understanding of our internal user’s goals and needs.

You’ll be comfortable in undertaking both qualitative and quantitative research and working with data and insights to inform your decision making. You will excel at defining the measures that matter to ensure that we are able to articulate a future state vision and work but also break down the pathway to delivery for you and our team.  


What you'll do: 

  • Collaborate closely with a cross functional our Infrastructure and Personal Technology core service teams of distributed Product Owners, Junior UI Designers, Architects, Engineers, and other experts across the group and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience for our customers
  • Researching and becoming a product advocate to understand customer needs and gathering data that is used to enable our delivery teams to build the best possible solutions
  • Understanding client motivation and needs and create unique, functional experiences to address those needs
  • Flexible practical approach to design, all the while remaining the advocate for the product and all internal digital channels
  • Creating wireframes, storyboards, sitemaps, and user flows to effectively communicate interaction and design ideas
  • Creating product prototypes for testing and demonstration purposes
  • Work collaboratively with all disciplines of a software development team and within the design system standards to create intuitive solutions
  • Testing the user experience and ironing out any experience issues before and after launch



You will bring to the role: 

  • Strong design experience with recent, hands-on experience as a designer. 
  • A portfolio showcasing experience in product design where you have previously shipped UX/UI design for digital products 
  • Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Human Computer-Interaction, or equivalent practical experience.  
  • End to end experience of managing design activities across the user-centred design process including strong design research skills, iterative design and prototyping and facilitation of usability testing.
