Scrum Master

The Digital Client Experience team will support Macquarie Asset Management’s vision to transform its client experience, which includes rebuilding its digital marketing platforms and establishing new digital solutions. This team will also drive the technology solutions for the new Wealth Solutions and Secondaries business lines.

In this role, you will work alongside Product owners, agile team of Engineers, Business SMEs, various Service owners & Support teams with a key focus to drive innovation and continuously deliver business outcomes.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading scrum team(s) focused on delivering business outcomes across global locations, with opportunity to operate cross-domain
  • supporting and mentoring scrum framework practices and Agile principles
  • managing and coordinating tasks across the program of work, conduct sprint and release planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and other agile activities as well as develop user stories and acceptance criteria definition
  • guiding teams to be self-organised, promote a collaborative team environment that foster creativity, innovation, continuous improvement and celebrate successes
  • providing targeted communication to all stakeholders to ensure clear understanding of dependencies, deliverables and issues and to manage stakeholder expectations
  • maintaining sprint flow by managing risks and removing blockers
  • developing an effective change management plan ensuring that the required change is achieved
  • assisting in effort estimation forecasting and people management.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • 5+ years’ experience as a Project Manager / Scrum Master working closely with product owners and engineers
  • proven experience in Agile delivery models and mindsets
  • delivering complex projects working across multiple streams, multiple regions, with multiple vendors
  • strong stakeholder management skills to gain consensus and deliver outcomes
