Lead Cloud Data and Analytics Developer

Our team delivers the cutting-edge cloud automation platform to support our global businesses and the demand for modern cloud-native applications and technologies.

We’re establishing a new role to support a growing need for cloud data and analytics. This role combines development, automation, and analytical skills, and we expect it to evolve into a larger data and analytics engineering team. This is a new frontier for this new team and us. You will be challenged to think outside the box, identify new opportunities, transform data into actionable insights, support decisions, and develop data-driven automation.

In the role, you will:

  • lead the design and establishment of the cloud-native data and analytics capabilities
  • coach junior team members
  • improve your leadership and analytical skills
  • learn cloud technologies
  • derive data-driven insights
  • maintain and develop data-driven automation micro-services
  • embrace DevOps culture
  • develop new skills and grow your career

We anticipate that to excel in this role you will have:

  • analytical mindset with passion for data, insights, and automation
  • experience building modern data pipelines and platforms
  • good problem solving, critical thinking and communication skills
  • 5+ years of software development experience in one or more programming languages - python, Node.js, Go, Java

You will be willing to learn:

  • cloud technologies (AWS and potentially GCP)
  • modern data architectures
  • platform engineering and automation
  • continuous delivery / continuous integration (CI/CD) pipelines
  • test driven development and automated testing
  • design thinking
