Come join us as a Portfolio Manager Analyst for the Debt Capital Markets/Leverage Finance Team with the Macquarie Capital Business Support Team within our Jacksonville, Florida office.
The Macquarie Capital Business Support Team maintains ownership of various responsibilities across business specific functions including, but not limited to: loan portfolio credit reviews, transaction specific deliverables, ad-hoc projects and operational support.
A role in the team will expose you to a dynamic working environment and the opportunity to support the Macquarie Capital business globally.
As a Portfolio Manager for the Debt Capital Markets/Leverage Finance Team you will utilize your expertise in commercial underwriting and portfolio management in loan structuring, pricing, scenario analysis and negotiating waivers and amendments. You will demonstrate your sound understanding of financial, accounting and risk management while working with deal teams in preparing, administering, and managing aspects of the quarterly and annual portfolio review process.
Your responsibilities will include monitoring and reporting on your assigned portfolio, interpreting credit agency ratings and monitoring covenant compliance on loan portfolio positions and reporting non-compliance to the appropriate staff. Also, overseeing credit agreement amendments on your portfolio from notification, assembling the proposition summary to approvals and signatures.
You will be proactive and diligent in dealing with matters, using your own initiative and drive in identifying and implementing solutions to improve efficiency and effectiveness of processes.
You should possess a bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance or Business Administration and 3-5 years of relevant industry experience in commercial underwriting/portfolio management.
