This is an exciting opportunity for an energetic Scrum Master, keen to contribute to the transformation of our Payments capabilities and overall growth of our Release Train. This is a unique position at Macquarie as you will be working directly with our Real Time Payments Feature team, as well as working closely with the Chief Scrum Master, driving agile and delivery practices across the overall Payments and Cards Release Train.
As Scrum Master, you will work with the feature team to ensure smooth delivery of prioritised features using the Scrum Framework. You will facilitate effective team ceremonies including stand ups, sprint planning, showcases and retrospectives. Use metrics effectively to improve the performance and quality of the team, facilitate team estimations and planning sessions and effectively manage delivery related risks, issues and cross team dependencies. You will coach your team to higher performance and drive continuous improvement activities. Lastly, you’ll be working with the Product Owner, Chief Scrum Master and Chief Engineer to determine capability needs within the team.
You will bring to this role experience in technical and business feature delivery, using Scrum and strong multi-level stakeholder and relationship management skills. As Scrum Master you will need to have excellent organisation and people skills, a proven track record in successfully working and collaborating with multiple teams, as well as be a natural problem solver with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
