Here at Macquarie bank we have a specialized cloud team that maintains an in-house Cloud Platform called Arturo, which lets Macquarie application teams to build modern, cloud-native applications without the need to manage large deployment governance programs.
Our goal in this team is to secure Arturo and to provide strong security enforcement policies so that application developers do not need to have deep security knowledge. We aim to eliminate manual operational task and integrate with AWS and other vendor applications to continually improve security capabilities. We are NOT an operations for the users of the platform and we work normal business hours.
As a Senior Engineer this an excellent start to your security career or a progression of your current skills. If you’ve been deploying workloads into AWS for a few years and you have solid coding skills then we’d like to hear from you.
A security background is not required as we will train you up on security in real world environment and will help you get your AWS solution Architect and Security Architect certificates as you work on Arturo. If you have a security background, then this is an opportunity to develop on the bleeding edge of security in the cloud and drive innovations or grow into a leadership role.
