Join our Credit Risk team, the independent risk management team of Banking and Financial Services, and enjoy playing a key role in the full lifecycle of credit risk management across our retail lending products.
With focus on credit risk collections regulatory reporting and collections projects, you will join a team that has responsibility across home loans, asset finance and credit cards. The team that you will join works in collaboration with the Personal Banking ecosystem, including product, compliance, operations, and technology to optimise business opportunities within acceptable risk parameters. Our Banking and Financial Services Credit Risk team also maintains close working ties with our central risk management group, relating to the development of risk acceptance criteria and risk governance.
In this role your key responsibilities will include:
- Active involvement in regulatory projects including the changes to the prudential and reporting standards as the SME
- Ensure compliance with the regulatory reporting policy and its control framework by enhancing governance to ensure accuracy and completeness of Credit Risk regulatory reporting. Annual attestations of credit risk prudential and reporting standards
- Partnering with analytics & insights teams to be able to identify and investigating trends and insights to understand and pro-actively inform stakeholders of changes in regulatory reporting metrics
- Leading / supporting the wider Credit Risk team with other strategy initiatives, enhance financial assistance offers to support our customers, support CCR initiatives
You will develop and maintain a deep understanding of internal and regulatory credit risk requirements and use this to develop and communicate methodologies and insights to assist strategy decisions.
To be successful in this role you will need vast experience in a credit risk or regulatory reporting role, working in financial services industry with the ability to work well cross functionally and develop productive/collaborative relationships. You will bring prior experience with Tableau preferred but not essential and the ability to multi-task and be flexible, and the ability to work individually as well within a team. Being proficient in Excel, Word and PowerPoint with excellent written and verbal communication skills will set you up for success in this role.

This role will suit you if you are analytical, are commercially minded and enjoy problem solving. You will have a track record of success in the workplace, combined with an outstanding academic background in a finance or quantitative degree.
You will have strong written and verbal communication skills alongside the ability to interpret and explain complex data. In addition, you will have superior stakeholder management skills and work commitment will rise to the challenge of working to tight deadlines at each quarter end.
