6 months internship opportunity - Macquarie Capital Private Credit (Principal Finance) - Paris

We are looking for an Intern to join our Private Credit team in our Paris office for 6 months commencing in July or September.

The Opportunity – Macquarie Capital Private Credit

Macquarie Capital Private Credit is part of Macquarie Capital’s Principal Finance balance sheet investment platform, which has invested over EUR25bn since early 2009, with over 100 investment professionals globally.  The team focuses on making credit investments between EUR50-300m.

Macquarie Capital also provides advisory and capital raising services to corporate and government clients involved in public mergers and acquisitions, private treaty acquisitions and divestments, debt and equity fund raising and corporate restructuring.

As an intern within the Macquarie Capital Private Credit team, you will support and assist the deal team in analysing potential investment opportunities (credit analysis, business planning and financial modelling, market analysis, due diligence assessment) and executing live transactions across Europe.

The European Private Credit is composed of 12 professionals in London and 3 professionals in Paris. As part of the Paris-based team, the intern will quickly be given responsibilities and assist the deal team in all stages of an investment opportunity.

About you

We are looking for motivated students in final year or gap year of a top business or engineering school, with a strong interest in finance. Prior experience in corporate finance advisory, M&A, private equity, private debt, leveraged finance, transaction services, or audit is a prerequisite.

Excellent language skills in both French and English are required.
