Our Macquarie Capital Energy Principal Investment Team is looking to bring you on as an Analyst or Associate into our Houston team.
You will have the opportunity to combine principal investing and infrastructure development with project finance and capital raising activities across asset classes and transaction structures. As an Analyst or Associate on our team, you will be given high levels of responsibility and ownership and will primarily be working on transactions that involve deploying our own balance sheet as an equity investor in pre-eminent renewable energy infrastructure transactions in the Americas.
You can also see recent examples including the development of (i) Gulf Coast Ammonia (GCA), the largest single train ammonia loop and storage tank in the world here as well as (ii) the co-development and financing of Cascade, a 900 MW combined cycle power plant in Alberta here.
You will assist and lead key diligence processes in relation to our principal investments, as well as run financial analysis and financial models, and support in the management of our development platforms. You will design and lead production of presentations, information memoranda and other analysis for internal and external audiences.
If you have 1 – 5 years of relevant experience investing in thermal or renewable energy, oil & gas, petrochemical or infrastructure projects, experience as an M&A execution or project finance banker, or experience working for a relevant industry player, we want to hear from you.
It will be helpful if you have experience independently running and feel comfortable incorporating key due diligence findings into financial models.
