An excellent opportunity has arisen in our Nashville office for an Associate within the Energy, Resources and Sustainability team which is part of Macquarie’s Specialized and Asset Finance division, a major contributor to the Commodities and Global Markets group. The Energy, Resources and Sustainability team covers the Mining, Oil & Gas, Energy, Construction, Mobility and Water sectors focusing on large ticket structured equipment finance solutions to help industries reduce negative impacts to the environment.
As an Associate you will have the opportunity to apply your technical and business acumen to a wide variety of finance transactions such as: leasing and asset finance, tailored debt and financing solutions and asset remarketing sourcing and trading. You will have the chance to leverage your previous experience to assess new finance opportunities for transactions across a range or financial products and other various asset categories ranging from $5m to $100m. Additionally, you will also support the deal team by providing market research, financial analysis, financial projections, and technology evaluation.

Additionally, you will have a strong attention to detail, exceptional work ethic as well as time and process management skills and have strong written and verbal communication skills.
To be considered for this role you will have:
- 3+ years’ experience in structured financing
- An undergraduate degree ideally in finance or engineering
- Experience or exposure to clean technology
- Proficient in proforma modeling and analysis
