Are you passionate about using technology to solve real world problems? Bring that passion to Macquarie’s Global Asset Management technology team to enhance, maintain and support our technology platform.
In this role, you will work collaboratively in a global team and partner directly to with end users to understand their requirements and use technology to help them satisfy their needs. You’ll work in a DevOps environment where you will build and operate our platform whilst continuously introducing more automation.
If you prefer outcomes rather than tasks, this role will give you the autonomy and accountability to work with others and drive your deliverables through to completion. Being able to communicate clearly to technical and non-technical audiences will make you successful.
Ideally you will also bring to the role:
- development experience in Java or .Net
- strong knowledge of SQL
- experience developing and deploying services to AWS
- problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
Experience in financial services would be beneficial but not necessary, especially if you are a great engineer who is passionate about working directly with users to understand real business problems and use technology to solve them.
