Senior Associate/Executive – Data Management

Macquarie Insurance Facility (MIF) is an aggregated insurance buying programme that was originally created to deliver portfolio benefits to Macquarie owned and managed assets. Today, they are one of the largest buyers of insurance in the world.
This role will see you maintain and update the day to day data processing and data management functions for the business. You’ll analyse insurance data to create, manage and monitor management reports. You’ll be responsible for inputting and maintaining data within Salesforce, ensuring that it is complete and accurate in order to support meaningful reporting. You’ll also be supporting senior stakeholders by preparing and maintaining Salesforce insights reporting for the regional deal execution teams using Salesforce and Power BI. You’ll also be responsible for assisting the team in collecting data for reconciling Bordereaux, flag and monitor upcoming policy renewals and develop reporting to facilitate this. Being the team’s local Excel expert, you’ll be able to manipulate vast amounts of data for ad-hoc reporting both accurately and efficiently and be the ‘go-to’ person for Excel support.
As you grow in your role you’ll develop knowledge of the wider Macquarie infrastructure that supports the business and you’ll consistently meet KPI’s or deadlines while communicating work status to the appropriate people.
To be successful in this role you’ll have a tertiary qualification in a business discipline, as well as post qualification experience of 2 to 5 years in an Insurance Transactional processing function. You bring a basic understanding of financial exposure and the operational risks associated with the insurance industry as well as a good understanding of quality control processes. You’ll have experience in Salesforce data management and reporting, and you’ll demonstrate advanced MS Excel skills as well as excellent research, analytical and communication skills.
